Capital Stewardship Campaign News

Forward in Faith

We Did It!

Pledges totalling more than $1.3 million have come in since Commitment Sunday on September 9, 2007.  Since our goal was $1.2 million, we're well on our way to building the new sanctuary.  We're also happy to report that 2008 Operating Budget pledges are nearing the $200,000 mark, well ahead of last year.

Our Bond Offering was completed on June 25, 2008 very successfuly, with an almost complete sell-out of all the bonds to church members.  Should construction bids come in higher than expected, we are prepared to make a secondary bond offering in December.  Contact our Church Office at 573-365-3366 for more information.

Parsonage Donated

Our parsonage has been donated to a local resident and is scheduled to be moved by the end of June 2008.  Work is already underway to prepare the house for moving, to be completed by Kris Cook, owner of Cook Moving and Construction.  The donation of the parsonage will save the church money by alleviating the need to tear down and clear the building.
